Cannon Valley Telecom, in
cooperation with other independent telephone companies and ONVOY, have brought
full Internet access to outstate Minnesota with a toll free local call. In
Bricelyn, Frost, Freeborn, Morristown, and Faribault, local Internet access is
available through Cannon Valley Telecom, connecting to 56K Flex/V.90 modems.
"Speedy" Internet DSL is available to customers in Bricelyn, Freeborn,
Frost and Morristown in speeds from 256K up to 1 MB.
High speed
cable modem Internet access is now available to
customers in parts of Dakota County.
Software is available on CD for
Windows 95, Windows 98, and MAC OS 7.5.1 or higher. This includes both
Microsoft Internet Explorer with Outlook Express and Netscape Communicator
with Netscape Messenger.
Cannon Valley Telecom provides
free 24 hour toll free
technical support, making it easy for you to get on-line.
Three Internet plans are
available for you to choose from for 10 hours, 50 hours, and 200 hours per
month.
