CLASS Calling Features such as
Caller ID, will function only on those calls that originate from calling
areas that have CLASS services or from areas that are sending out the
caller's number.

Calling Number Delivery is
available for both local as well as long distance calls; however,
international calls are generally incompatible with Calling Number
Delivery.

A toll call routed to a
recording by a CLASS service will be treated as an unanswered call.

Automatic Callback will not
work on 800 or 900 prefixed numbers or international calls.
Blocking options for your
protection . . .

In order to protect the
privacy of our telephone customers, Cannon Valley Telecom has made
blocking options available at no charge.

Blocking enables a customer to
control the disclosure of telephone numbers to a subscriber of Calling
Number Delivery.

Non-published numbers will be
displayed to Caller ID customers, unless the number is blocked.

Screening features such as
Selective Call Acceptance, Selective Call
Rejection, Selective Call
Forwarding and Selective Distinctive Ringing will work on blocked calls.

Blocking options available
to you . . .
Per Call Blocking
Per Call Blocking allows you to
prevent your phone number from being displayed to Caller ID customers on a per
call basis by pressing *67 before dialing the call. Customers do
not have to subscribe to Caller ID to use Per Call Blocking. Per Call
Blocking is provided on all lines, except payphones, where it is technically
feasible, unless the customer has selected line blocking.
Line Blocking
Line Blocking prevents your number
from being displayed to Caller ID customers on all calls made from your
telephone. Emergency 9111 call will not be affected. Blocking is
available upon request for new residential customers for a one-time charge
of $5.00. Line Blocking is available at no charge to new residential
customers during the first ninety days after the customer installs service.
Line Block in available at no charge to businesses and organizations whose
privacy is critical, such as law enforcement, shelters for abused persons,
and government agencies engaged in undercover operations. Other businesses
interested in Line Blocking must demonstrate a critical need for privacy in
order to qualify for the Line Blocking feature.
Per Call Un-Blocking
This feature allows you to un-block
your blocked line on a per call basis by pressing *82 before placing
your call. This feature is available at no charge to all customers who have
Line Blocking.
